In addition to the climate-related benefits, the partners also discovered that the working environment itself was positively affected, with factors such as lower noise level and better air quality standing out. "The difference for us who work with the machines was like night and day,’’ says Pejman Roshan, Operations Manager at ISS Sweden. ‘’No noise or diesel-smelling clothes after an intensive workday. The Zero Emission project proved how broad an impact fossil-free solutions can have. It does more than helping to save the planet, although that is telling enough."
The right infrastructure was a critical success factor for the project. In this case, charging stations were available for direct connection in the worksite, which was a prerequisite for the project to be carried out safely and sustainably.
