ISS entered the Australian market place in 2002, and the New Zealand marketplace in 2005. Since then we have become one of the Pacific’s leading facility service providers with an extensive portfolio of over 400 customers. We have around 17,000 service professionals working across all regions of Australia and New Zealand - creating places that think, work and give for our customers.

2002

ISS entered the Australian marketplace in 2002 with the purchase of pest control and hygiene services company WA Flick & Co Pty Ltd.

2004

Acquisition of Kirwan Industrial Services Pty Ltd, providers of cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, and paint shop services.

2005

ISS entered the marketplace in New Zealand with the acquisition of the Manchester Group.

Acquired 49% of Tempo Services Ltd, a large facility services company with national operations providing cleaning, security, grounds, catering, planned and preventative maintenance service.

Acquired Kirwan Cleaning and Kirwan Grounds Maintenance.

2006

100% acquisition of Tempo Services Ltd.

2008

Acquisition of Topic Caterers.

2009

Acquisition of Clean Sweep Road cleaners.

2013

Pest control and hygiene services sold to Anticimex as part of a global ISS deal.

2014

Commercial security business sold to Wilson Security.

2015

Launch of first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), formalising our commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

2016

ISS Pacific's online Learning Management System, MyLearning, wins ISS Global Innovation Fair and is rolled out across the world.

2017

ISS Australia's Team Boards are launched across the world, providing a global standard for site communication.

2019

ISS Pacific fast-track Inclusion & Diversity targets and commitments to our people with strategy launch.

ISS becomes a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
