ISS is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Mates4Mates, a leading veteran charity established by RSL Queensland in 2013. This collaboration aims to support current and ex-serving Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and their families who have been impacted by service.
At ISS, we value the unique skills and experiences veterans bring to the workplace. We are dedicated to providing employment opportunities and support to veterans and their families, helping them thrive in their civilian careers. This aligns with our commitment to promoting the overall wellbeing of the communities we serve.
“ISS supports Mates4Mates in appreciating, and retaining, veteran and military-affiliated talent and their families in order to help ISS build a diverse and inclusive workplace, built upon veteran talent.” Keith French, General Manager, Business Development.
Mates4Mates has a proven track record of making a significant difference in the lives of nearly 11,000 veterans and their families through comprehensive services designed to facilitate recovery. These services include physical rehabilitation, mental health support, skills and wellbeing programs, and social connection activities.
Mates4Mates Chief Executive Officer, Emma Whitehead also welcomed the new partnership, highlighting the importance of creating inclusive and diverse-safe environments.
“It’s through the support of industry partners such as ISS that allows us to meet the ever-increasing need for more mental health and physical rehabilitation services as well as opportunities for social connection,” Emma said.
“This partnership with ISS will ensure that we can remain committed to providing veterans and families with a space that is inclusive, diverse and gives them a sense of belonging while they reconnect and recover.”
