Hear firsthand about Kevin's ISS GMT experience
Kevin holds two Business Bachelors degrees in Banking and Finance, and International Business, in what he describes as a generalist business background. He found the ISS GMT programme key to transferring this knowledge to potential career pathways. The programme provides business and workplace experience across a range of sectors and industries as he explains below.
In Norway, what stood out the most was how I felt completely integrated into the team and community. People there were welcoming and supportive. I have since been offered a management position in finance at ISS Facility Services Norway, and I have decided to relocate from Australia to Norway.
Any particular highlights during this time?
I worked on an important project for one of Norway's largest contracts. The responsibility and self-imposed pressure to deliver the best possible work pushed me to learn new skills and was a catalyst for growth in all aspects.
The experience of collaborating on large-scale projects in a different country and building connections was invaluable.
What set the ISS GMT programme apart?
The key differences are the international exposure and the opportunity for fast-paced learning and growth. If you possess an open and flexible mindset and are willing to take opportunities to grow while having the initiative to create your own, joining ISS as a graduate can provide you with a great foundation to launch yourself within the facilities management industry. ISS provides a supportive environment to achieve your goals and excel in your career.
