ISS continues cleaning services partnership with the Victorian Government

Having successfully held this contract previously, the re-award reflects ISS’ strong performance, dedication to service continuity, and unwavering commitment to creating safe, clean and healthy learning environments that support the well-being of students, teachers and staff.

Starting 26 December, ISS will deliver high-quality cleaning services to schools across inner Melbourne and the Bayside Area, ensuring balanced, consistent coverage across all locations.

This contract is truly a testament to ISS' commitment to operational excellence and innovation in the education sector, where we will continue to deliver exceptional service with a focus on sustainability, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key features of the contract include:

Dedicated Service Delivery: Over 300 ISS employees will provide cleaning services across the Melbourne Metropolitan region, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in all serviced facilities.

• Sustainability Initiatives: ISS will implement eco-friendly cleaning solutions, aligning with the Victorian Government’s sustainability goals.

• Training and Development: ISS will invest in advanced training programs for cleaning staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to meet the specific needs of educational environments.

• Responsive Service: Dedicated Customer Service Managers and Supervisors will conduct detailed audits and closely monitor performance to ensure ISS’ high standards are consistently met. By leveraging advanced technology, we provide a flexible, transparent and responsive service as school needs evolve.  

• Innovation in Service Delivery: The contract includes the integration of advanced technology for better service management, data tracking and communication, ensuring continuous improvement and high performance.

• Social Responsibility: ISS is committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities through social procurement initiatives including first nations and disability employment to focus on diversity and inclusion in the workforce.

The award of this contract will now see ISS servicing over 1,500 contracts in the education sector across schools, TAFEs, technical colleges and universities across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
