In today’s fast-paced work environment, keeping employees engaged is more crucial than ever. Yet, research shows that over 60% of workers worldwide felt disengaged last year, with an additional 15% actively disengaged. One significant issue is the gap between the technology a company provides and what employees actually need. A day in the life of Adam 

Adam starts his day by opening the Workplace App on his phone. The app provides him with a personalised overview of his schedule, including meetings, tasks and events for the day. He quickly checks the app to see if there are any updates or important announcements from his company. 

Morning: Adam arrives at the office and uses the app to find a parking spot. The app's wayfinder feature helps him navigate to the nearest available parking space. Once inside the building, Adam uses the app to book a desk for the day. The smart booking system ensures that he gets a comfortable and productive workspace. 

Mid-Morning: The app alerts Adam that one of his colleagues is in the office and invites them for a coffee where they catch up on a new project they are working on together and, of course, discuss who they think is going to win the big game that night. Afterwards he has a meeting with his team to discuss a new project. He used the app to book a meeting room and invited his colleagues to join. The app sends reminders to everyone involved, ensuring that no one misses the meeting. During the meeting, Adam takes notes and shares them with his team through the app. 

Lunch: Adam checks the app to see the menu for the office cafeteria. He pre-orders his meal to avoid waiting in line. The app also informs him about any upcoming social events or activities happening during lunch, allowing him to plan his break accordingly. 

Afternoon: Adam receives a notification from the app about a company-wide announcement. He reads the news and participates in a quick survey to provide his feedback. The app keeps him informed and engaged with the latest updates from the company. 

Late Afternoon: Adam encounters an issue with his computer. He uses the app to raise a support ticket, and the IT team quickly responds to resolve the problem. The app's ticketing system ensures that issues are addressed promptly and efficiently. 

Evening: Before leaving the office, Adam checks the app to see if there are any upcoming events or activities he might be interested in. He signs up for a networking event happening later in the week. The app helps him stay connected with his colleagues and build relationships within the company. 

Throughout the day, the Workplace App enhances his productivity and wellbeing by providing him with the tools and information he needs to navigate his workday seamlessly. The app creates an elevated workplace experience, making it easier for Adam to stay informed, engaged and connected with his colleagues.
