A clean working environment is the basis of efficient production. Laboratory, workshop, warehouse, office building, cafeteria and parking lot, different places need different professional equipment, tools, and people to meet different cleaning needs.
With the rapid development of technology, traditional cleaning is changing to smart cleaning. As a world leading IFM services provider, ISS cooperates with innovative pioneers in the field of professional cleaning and hygiene, using the latest technologies to help companies create workplaces that improve work efficiency, foster collaboration, and inspire creativity.
ISS’s smart cleaning presents two features to improve user experience:
1 Robot does work smartly with flexibility
Applying latest innovations, ISS is using robots that reduce water and chemical usage at multiple customer sites in China. Through self-navigation and AI environment identification, robots can automatically plan the working path and estimate the disinfection time.
This year, ISS expanded cooperation with Gaussian Robotics, a commercial cleaning robot company, using multiple latest model robots to meet the cleaning and maintenance needs of complex floors such as factory floors, office lobbies, and sloping roads. Its anti-collision, anti-fall, anti-skid and other security functions make the on-site employees and visitors feel the dexterity and advanced of the robot.
In the park of a leading international manufacturing customer, ISS cleaning team selected two intelligent robots according to site condition, efficiently conducting cleaning tasks of floor washing, dust pushing and disinfection, with the daily working area of 14,000 square meters. Compared with traditional floor scrubbers, this try-on has achieved an average of 74% and 46% respectively of saving water and electricity.
2 IoT monitors real time situation to ensure efficiency
In professional cleaning and hygiene field, ISS adheres to the principles of fairness, mutual trust and win-win cooperation, established long-term partnerships with several industry-leading suppliers. This year, Kärcher, one of ISS partners and the world's leading supplier of cleaning tools, launched a new IoT intelligent management system. We have applied it in several client sites. ISS project managers and customer’s managers can read data including use efficiency, cleaning area, machine location through mobile APP and computer, control equipment dynamics in real time, making sure the safety of assets and personnel, to ensure efficient production.
In a Tianjin shopping mall project, the IoT intelligent management system helped monitored the working condition of each machine. For example, the average working time of an intelligent floor scrubber is about 1.5 hours a day. Charging 55 times in total, and the total cleaning area has reached 280,000 square meters in a month.
As an extension of human brain, robots and IoT will replace people to perform repetitive and dangerous work, making operation and management more relaxed and reflecting the "people-oriented" of science and technology. Adopting self-delivery model, ISS equips every placemakers with ergonomic cleaning tools and advanced machines, so that they can work more easily, keep pace with the times to bring extraordinary service experience for customers, and create a more pleasant and efficient workplace.
