Questions & answers

Q: Can I continue to grow my career once I get into ISS?

A: There is no such thing as a dead-end job in ISS. We offer a very wide range of training and educational opportunities to all employees at ISS. We have around-the-world dedicated training centers for our frontline employees.

Q: Can I have an international career at ISS?

A: Yes, we have an International Career Exchange programme (ICE). Through ICE we offer successful people the opportunity to work outside their home country as a part of their own career development. We believe this makes ISS a truly global company and enhances knowledge-sharing across borders.

Q: Is it correct that people employed by ISS must work full time?

A: We will always have a combination of part-time and full-time employees. However, ISS has introduced some ambitious goals to increase the number of full-time employees in an industry where part-time employment seems to be the standard. We have proved that increasing full-time employment not only increases employee satisfaction but also increases customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Q: What happens to me if ISS acquires the company I am working for?

A: We value everyone who has joined ISS through an acquisition. We hope that goes without saying, but we always like to make that point clear. Remember, almost 40,000 employees joined ISS through acquisitions last year. We hope that this sends a reassuring message your way - that, as an employee being integrated into ISS, you will be treated with dignity and respect. We value your industry knowledge and your knowledge of our clients' environment and needs. You can be sure that ISS works hard to "do integrations" better than anyone else in the Facility Services industry. And we will be doing all we can to help smooth your transition to ISS.

Q: Whom should I turn to apply for a job in my home country?

A: On this webpage you can only apply for positions at the Corporate Head Office in Copenhagen. For local jobs you have to contact your national offices. Contact an office near you.
